The photo was taken in 1955. We arrived at Haneda Airport near Tokyo
and I went to the Military Air Transport Service (MATS) and got aboard
a giant Cargo Master airplane for the first leg of my flight to Midway
Island where we landed, refueled and everyone ate one meal. |
