Flooded fields of rice near Sendai. That's the Hirose River down there.
The Beaver airplane was tossed around the sky and eventually made me sick
and I had to vomit. I used the manila envelope that contained my
records to vomit in. We tossed it out over these fields. I often wondered
what the Japanese farmer might think when he found the envelope in his
rice paddy.
